Terms & Conditions
By using the platform you agree to the terms below.
Use of the platform
The platform promotes authentic tourism in Romania. Content is provided "as is" without any guarantee of absolute accuracy.
Business listings
All listings are reviewed by our team before publication. We reserve the right to reject any request without a detailed justification.
Payment and subscriptions
Business listings are only published after the subscription is paid. When the period expires, the listing becomes inactive automatically. See also Business Listing Terms.
Prohibited content
- Illegal, offensive, misleading or copyright-infringing content.
- Spam, aggressive promotion, sexual or violent content.
Moderation rights
We may suspend or remove any listing that violates the rules, without prior notice.
Liability
The information displayed about listed businesses is provided entirely by those businesses. The platform acts exclusively as a listing and promotion service: we do not verify, guarantee or assume responsibility for the accuracy or timeliness of the information, for the quality of the services offered, or for any unpleasant situations arising between visitors and listed businesses. Any contractual relationship (booking, payment, provision of services) is established directly between the visitor and the business.
The “Verified” badge on some listings only means that the contact details and the existence of the business were summarily confirmed at publication — it is not a guarantee of service quality.
Intellectual property
The platform's content — texts, translations, design, code, logo and page structure, as well as the database of attractions, descriptions, coordinates and listings — is protected under Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights, including the sui generis right of the database producer. Materials provided by listed businesses remain their property, and information taken from public sources is credited as such.
Without our prior written consent, the following are prohibited: copying, reproducing, distributing or republishing the content; extracting or re-using the database, in whole or in any substantial part, including by automated means (scraping, crawling, bots); using the names "Vacanță România" / "Holiday in Romania" or the platform's visual identity. Short quotations with attribution and a link to the platform, as well as sharing links to our pages, are permitted.
Infringement of these rights entails civil or, where applicable, criminal liability; we reserve the right to block access and to seek damages.
ANPC and alternative dispute resolution (SAL)
If you are a consumer and believe your rights have been infringed, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) — anpc.ro. For alternative dispute resolution (SAL) you can file a request through the national platform reclamatiisal.anpc.ro, managed by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Directorate within ANPC (72 Aviatorilor Blvd., District 1, Bucharest).
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228; requests are now filed through the national SAL mechanism above.
