Pădurice Park is a public garden and municipal park located in the Podgoria neighbourhood of Arad municipality, on Strada Corneliu Coposu, at the intersection of several major thoroughfares, in the immediate vicinity of the "Sfânta Treime" Orthodox Cathedral (the Podgoria Church). Opened to the public in 1834 through a donation, the park covers an area of 8.5 hectares and is administered by the Arad Municipality City Hall. It was renovated in 2012. The centrepiece and main attraction of the park is the multimedia artesian fountain installed on the surface of the lake, recognised as the first floating musical fountain in Romania, designed by the companies Hiwaters and OASE. The installation consists of a central water jet reaching a maximum height of 30 metres, 6 multidirectional dynamic nozzles with laminar jets of up to 13 metres in height, and an alignment of 15 nozzles with variable heights of up to 10 metres. The second installation comprises a group of 7 independent floating fountains, each with a single jet of up to 16.5 metres, all illuminated with white LED floodlights. Pădurice Park is one of the most frequented recreational spaces in Arad, owing to its central location, the lake, and the musical water shows.
