The Wood Art Museum in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, at Calea Transilvaniei 10, is devoted to the wood-based culture of Bukovina and holds more than 15,000 objects. Opened in 1936 as a museum of ethnography and folk art and reorganised in 1967, it occupies the former prefecture of Câmpulung county, a listed historic building.

The Wood Art Museum („Arta Lemnului”) stands at Calea Transilvaniei 10, in the centre of Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Suceava County. It is a public cultural institution run by the Local Council and occupies a late nineteenth-century building that housed the prefecture of Câmpulung county, a historic monument with LMI code SV-II-m-B-05515. The building has recently been restored.
A founding committee was set up in 1935, and the museum opened in 1936 as a county museum of ethnography and folk art, based on ethnographic collections assembled by I. Ștefureac and C. Brăescu. In 1967 it was reorganised as a museum of wood art, and from 1970 its exhibitions turned to the culture of wood.
The holdings comprise more than 15,000 objects of ethnography, folk art, memorabilia, numismatics and natural history, dating from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. On display are wooden furniture and tools, baskets for gathering forest fruit, shepherding and cheese-making implements, carts and sleighs, dowry objects, works by the craftsman Gheorghe Apostu and traditional technical installations: oil presses, wine and fruit presses, fulling mills, hand mills and water-powered mechanisms. The indoor exhibition covers about 1,822 sq m.
The courtyard holds an open-air section with traditional buildings. The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, and is closed on Mondays.
