Preutești Monastery
Preutești Monastery is an Orthodox monastery in the village of Leucușești, Preutești commune, east of Fălticeni. According to monastery guides, it was founded in 2000 by Hieroschemamonk Ioil Corbu, its abbot, and has a community of about ten.
Preutești Monastery lies in the village of Leucușești in Preutești commune, Suceava county. It is reached from Fălticeni on the road towards Dolhasca: after about 5 kilometres, turn right towards Leucușești, and the monastery is about 4 kilometres further on.
According to the monastery guides published by CrestinOrtodox.ro and OrtodoxNews.ro, it was founded in 2000 through the efforts of Hieroschemamonk Ioil Corbu, who is also its abbot. The community numbers about ten and lives a common (cenobitic) life.
It is a new monastery, and none of its buildings is on the list of historic monuments of Suceava county.
