Otilia Cazimir Memorial House, Iași
The Otilia Cazimir Memorial House is the home at 4 Strada Otilia Cazimir where the poet lived from childhood until her death in 1967. Opened as a museum in 1972, it belongs to the network of the National Museum of Romanian Literature in Iași.

The Otilia Cazimir Memorial House stands at 4 Strada Otilia Cazimir in central Iași. It was the home of the poet Otilia Cazimir (1894-1967).
The house was built before 1860 and bought by the poet's parents when she was four years old; Otilia Cazimir lived here for the rest of her life. After her death the house was restored between 1970 and 1972, when it opened as a museum, and again in 1977 after the earthquake.
The exhibition occupies two rooms and a hallway and recreates the setting in which the poet lived and wrote. On display are eighteenth-century icons with silver covers, photographs, signed books, manuscripts, Moldavian woven rugs, furniture and personal belongings. Portraits of the poet and landscapes of the Bucșinescu area by Iași painters, including Victor Mihăilescu-Craiu and Nicolae Constantin, complete the collection.
The museum belongs to the network of the National Museum of Romanian Literature in Iași, an institution under Iași County Council, and is open to visitors.
