Râpa Roșie - Dealul Morii Nature Reserve
Râpa Roșie - Dealul Morii is a natural reserve of geomorphological type located in Vrancea County, on the territory of Tulnici commune, on the right bank of the Putna River. Covering an area of 49.60 hectares, the protected area preserves a unique pseudokarst formation — steep slopes, towers, needles, gullies and micro-canyons shaped by erosion, producing a picturesque relief similar to karst. It was declared a protected area by Law no. 5 of 6 March 2000.

Râpa Roșie - Dealul Morii is a nationally protected area (IUCN Category IV — habitat/species management area) located in the Munții Vrancei, a relief unit of the Carpații de Curbură, in the north-western part of Vrancea County. The reserve covers an area of 49.60 hectares on the right bank of the Putna River, downstream from its confluence with the Coza valley, in the southern part of the village of Tulnici, near communal road 205L linking Tulnici to the village of Păulești. From a geological standpoint, the reserve represents a pseudokarst natural area — erosion forms resembling karst, produced however by processes other than dissolution. The steep slope, southern exposure and nature of the rocks have generated a spectacular relief of towers, needles, gullies, funnels and micro-canyons, giving the site a distinctive character within the mountain landscape of Vrancea. The reserve was established in 1990 and officially declared a protected area by Law no. 5 of 6 March 2000. Access is via communal road 205L from the village of Tulnici, a commune situated approximately 70 km north-west of Focșani on DN2L.
